: Yeah I remember those, in fact.
: Back in about 75 I bought a set of these for my step dad thinking he wanted a set. Turns out he didn't and believe it or not he still has them, in the box never mounted. I also bought him the installation kit which he has never used. Lately I've been telling him he should put them on Ebay. I know they haven't made them in a LONG time, and suppose they may be worth quite a bit in new condition. SO far he hasn't put them on there, so they are still up for grabs. What do you suppose they are worth? Make a reasonable offer and I will pass it on!
: BTW: These are the longer of the two types made as I recall.

: Oh yeah. I'm located in Oregon.
: : Hi
: : In the early 70's Thrush made side pipes. They were made of a cast aluminum I believe. They had a brushes
: : or dull finish and the end of the pipe was somewhat of a
: : flair look.
: : I had a 72 Mercury Cougar with these pipes on it and liked the look. I now again have a 73 Mercury Cougar and would like to duplicate my original car,but cannot
: : find these pipes. I know they are not made any more
: : but thought someone out there might have a used set they
: : would like to sell. Any imformation will be appreciated. Please leave message on the E-Mail at
: : johnrnelsonbls@yahoo.com Thanks John

I am searching for a pair of Thrush side pipes to mount on my 1980 El Camino so i would definitely be interested in knowing if he still has them and would be intereted in seilling them.
