I just purchased a 1978 mercedes Eurpoean 500SL without an engine or transmission. I would like to put an American V8 or V6 in it. does anyone know what will fit best? Talked to a couple of people that put 350 chevy's and Ford 302's and they had problems with crossmember and steering. Any help will be appreciated.
