If those additives did what they claimed why doesent every automaker form every country use them> As a matter of fact, owner's manuals usually recommend against the use of oil additives. I dont think they work that well, but I have heard of slick 50 somehow restricting oil flow to your rockers.
An engine will usually give countless miles if its well maintained, just having regular oil changes with regular oil. What more could you want?
